Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Priest:
With complete faith and trust we pray to the Father for all our needs:
Reader:
For the church, for our Holy Father Pope Francis, for our bishops, priests and deacons, and for all the baptised. We ask God to help us keep our faith strong.
Lord in your mercy.
For the children of our parish and for all young people who are changing schools or facing important decisions about their future - may they be guided by the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, in your mercy.
For those experiencing difficulties in their married life and for those whose marriages have ended. May they be given strength by the guidance of the Holy Spirit in their special circumstances.
Lord in your mercy.
We pray that the mission of this parish will always include a special care for all who are sick in mind or body, to whom we minister the consoling touch of Christ who loves them and who unites himself with their suffering.
Lord in your mercy.
We now ask the intercession of Our Blessed Lady as we say, Hail Mary
Let us now pray for a moment in silence.
Priest:
Father, we bring you these petitions, confident in the knowledge that you will hear and answer our prayers which we make through Jesus Christ your Son. Amen.
