Loving Lord, we place all our hope in you
as we come with our concerns for our own needs, and the needs of the world.
Reader:
We pray for the people of Japan in the aftermath of the disasters that have struck their country, may they overcome their present hardships and have hope for the future
(pause) Lord in your mercy
Let us pray for CAFOD and the other Aid Agencies as they face continual demands on their resources from so many parts of the world, may we all give generously to these good causes
(pause) Lord in your mercy
We pray for ourselves that we may keep true to our Lenten resolutions and use these precious weeks to prepare carefully for Easter
(pause) Lord in your mercy
We pray for the repose of the soul of (Joan Gallagher) and for the members of our families and parish who have gone before us. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
(pause) Lord in your mercy
We ask Our Blessed Lady to help us with our prayers as we say - Hail Mary.
Now in silence we pray for our own needs and intentions.

Merciful Father, accept these prayers and grant that what we ask in faith we may obtain through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen
