The Epiphany of the Lord
Priest:
On this feast of the Epiphany, let us turn to God, our Father in heaven, for all our needs.
Reader:
For the church; Bishops, Clergy and all God’s people.
May we all be a light shining out in the darkness and faithful heralds of the Christmas message, sharing with others the love and mercy of God.
Lord, hear us.
For ourselves, our homes and our families:
May the Lord bless our homes with his peace and our fill our hearts with his joy.
Lord, hear us.
For justice and peace in the world.
May the weak, the vulnerable, the poor and the needy come to trust in the victory of the eternal justice of God.
Lord, hear us.
For those who have died recently and all who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith; may all who mourn the loss of their loved ones trust that at the end of our earthly journey, we may all be reunited in the Kingdom of God.
Lord, hear us..
Let us turn to Mary the Holy Mother of God, to intercede for us as we say, Hail Mary…
Let us pray our own intentions in silence.
Priest:
Father, when the Magi came to your Son, your love was revealed for all mankind. May we, through our good works, continually reveal your mercy. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
