Jesus brought healing, comfort and new life to those who believed. Let us make our prayers of intercession for our needs and the needs of the world.

Reader

For the Church: may we always be a sign of faith to all people in a world faced with sadness and strife.
Lord, in your mercy

For Francis, our Pope, and for our Bishop N., the successors of the Apostles, for our priests and deacons:  may they work in partnership and harmony for the good of the people whom they serve.
Lord, in your mercy

For our Parish(es), may we continue actively to encourage others to share their gifts, energy and enthusiasm with our Church, and that our community of faith may be a living example of the mystery of God’s presence among us.
Lord, in your mercy

We pray for all those who have died recently: may they know the peace which comes from sharing in Christ's victory over death.
Lord, in your mercy

Let us now ask Mary to pray for us as we pray Hail Mary…

Loving Father, you are always near to us, and the prayers of the Apostles surround us. Hear these prayers which we make with confidence in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Let us turn to God asking for all our needs and the needs of the Church and of all mankind.

Reader:

For Pope Francis: May we all respond to his call that we embrace with tender affection the whole of humanity. May we serve especially the poorest, the weakest and the smallest and so open a new horizon of hope.
Lord, in your mercy.

We ask God to teach us to pray so that we can wholeheartedly praise Him, seek His mercy, show our gratitude and bring all our needs to Him
Lord in your mercy

For unbelievers and doubters: that they may come to faith and trust and love of God – may our Easter joy be contagious
Lord in your mercy

For politicians worldwide that they may never try to outlaw faith in God and the peaceful signs and symbols of religion
Lord in your mercy

Grant eternal rest to all who have died especially (NN and) we remember those who have no-one to pray for them.
Lord in your mercy

Let us ask Our Lady to join her prayers to ours as we say - Hail Mary

In silence let us bring our own intentions to God.
