32nd Sunday of the Year (Remembrance Sunday)

Priest:

Trusting in God’s love and mercy we bring the needs of the Church, the World and our own needs to Him in prayer.

Reader:

We remember all who gave their lives in two World Wars, may the memory of their sacrifice and of the grief of their friends and families prompt us all to pursue peace.
Lord in your mercy

We pray for the United Nations that it may be an effective instrument of peace in the world.
Lord in your mercy

We pray for all leaders of nations that they may be given knowledge, wisdom and understanding in pursuit of the good of all their peoples so that they may live in peace within their frontiers and with other nations. Lord in your mercy

We pray for peoples displaced by war or persecution or poverty that they may be given courage and find a welcome.
Lord in your mercy

During this month of November we pray especially for the deceased of our families and of our parish –

Eternal rest grant to them, O Lord
and may perpetual light shine upon them.
May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen

We ask Our Lady to support our prayers as we pray Hail Mary

In silence we make our own requests to our heavenly Father.

Priest:

God our loving Father, we ask you to hear and answer all our prayers because we make them in faith through Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
